  • Meet and greet visitors.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, pass on messages and deal with client queries.
  • Ensure that the reception area is always presentab.
  • Provide refreshments and/or lunch for external client meetings.
  • Keep the meeting room diaries updated and make bookings when requested.
  • Book jobs for the transport assistant in his calendar and keep him informed of any changes.
  • Check stock of stationery, canteen and washroom supplies weekly and order as required.
  • Sort all inbound post and frank outgoing post ready for collection in the afternoon.
  • Ensure that the franking machine is always topped up and ready for use.
  • Offer general admin support to departments that need it, time permitting.
  • Coordinate recycling collections and support the work of the Green Team, along with any
  • other environmental work around the office.
  • Issue security passes.
  • Responsible for the office deliveries.
  • Update the staff directory on the Seven website.
  • Divide the daily fruit delivery, wash and deliver to each floor.
  • Help the picture desk with shoots when required.
  • Inform the facilities manager of any building faults or issues within the office.

  • At least 6 – 12 months experience in a front of house role.

  • Professional personal presentation.

  • An outgoing personality.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • The ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Efficient and well organised.

  • To be flexible and professional in your approach.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative.

  • Working knowledge of social media.

  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

  • The ability to use Paralles integrated telephone systems.

  • An interest in the business is desirable.

  • Good sense of humour is essential!
