Account Director - Permanent role
This role sits within our Client Services team and will, for the time being, report directly to our MD, Mark Smith. You will oversee the delivery of a range of digital and social projects across a mix of B2C and B2B clients, likely to include The Perfume Shop, Livi, Bosch, ABB, E.ON.

The right candidate will be a self-starter, full of ideas and motivated by seeking out opportunities for themselves, the agency and their clients. They will be passionate about creating what matters - creating content and customer engagement in a way that truly makes a difference for a brand. And they will also know what it takes to deliver projects successfully – being organised and always being one step-ahead.

We’ll keep you busy with:

  • At least 2 years experience at AD level
  • Solid background in digital and social marketing preferably combined with experience in CRM
  • Preferably have B2B experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Experience in owning, planning and delivering multiple client projects and know what it takes to ensure successful outcomes
  • Proven record of owning and driving strong client relationships, including more senior clients
  • Experience of working alongside Project Management and understanding respective roles

  • Solid digital and social media understanding is key, within overall integrated solutions
  • Be a self-starter and has a clear point of view (and willing to share)
  • Be able to look beyond the brief and interrogate why we’re doing what we do
  • Be naturally curious, proactive and spot revenue opportunities
  • Desire to understand the client’s business, including their organisation, the marketplace (e.g. key competitors, economic drivers and competitive activity)
  • Have the commercial understanding to influence profitability
  • The ability and personality to inspire an agency team to faultless delivery
  • Not settling for mediocre
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Build collaborative and inspiring relationships internally
  • Take responsibility for running (and prep’ing for) key meetings (both client and internal)
  • You will be a natural problem solver and salesperson
  • Able to help define as well as understand the bigger picture
  • Be a naturally restless and curious member of the team
  • Have great commercial acumen to manage team financials
  • Have the drive and desire to be involved in new business initiatives and pitches
  • Have an inner Project Manager within you

 

Hours and Location:
Our office is in Farringdon but we’re all working very successfully from home at the moment and are happy for people to blend home/office working post Covid. However, you must be able to commute to the London office easily post Covid restrictions.

Our core hours are 9.30-5.30 Monday- Thursday with an early finish at 4.30 on Fridays.

This role is advertised as a full time role but please talk to us about part time hours if this is your preference.
