It is a BIG day at Seven. At 9AM it was announced that we’ve joined forces with German super-agency C3 (Creative, Code, Content) to create the biggest content marketing specialist in Europe.
Breaking the exciting news to a packed crowd in Herbal Hill, our CEO Sean King was joined by C3 MDs Gregor Vogelsang, Lukas Kircher and Rainer Burkhardt.
Anglo/German relations got off to a flying start over a slap-up breakfast of bacon butties and Buck’s Fizz, as we talked about all the benefits for our clients – over 40 leading brands, including Porsche, Weightwatchers, Fujitsu, Sainsbury’s, VW and Hyatt.
The newly combined Seven C3 team boasts over 600 strategists and creatives, specialising in everything from technology, finance and cars to food, fitness and fashion.
As well as all this shiny talent and expertise, the deal gives us fantastic resources, including Europe’s leading motion graphics and animation unit and a 40-strong team of developers.
The C3 team is excited about the innovation and disruption in the UK market. As Lukas put it: “We are really looking forward to the opportunities coming our way. In particular socially-powered campaigns, using highly targeted content to deliver audiences at scale for clients.”
And this is just Day One! Sean summed it up perfectly, “C3 and Seven have created a new kind of specialist content network with creativity and technology at its core. We cannot wait to get started.”
